A PARADISE FOR CYCLISTS

ENDURO TRAILS

The "Enduro Trails - Bielsko-Biała" complex is a network of beautiful, scenic one-way mountain bike trails, called "singletracks". These are the most popular among mountain bikers, narrow, winding and undulating trails of varying difficulty, from easier, gently sloping ones to steep, technically demanding descents. The center of the trails, together with an information point, is located in the area of the so-called "City Meadows", at the foot of Kozia Góra mountain. The trails run between Szyndzielnia and Kozia Góra (in the Klimczok massif). Szyndzielnia rises to a height of 1030 meters above sea level. Its peak can be reached by a modern gondola lift (Szyndzielnia Gondola Lift). Isn't this a great idea for relaxation...?

DĘBOWIEC RECREATION AND SKI CENTER

Dębowiec Slope is an ideal place for hiking and walking all year round, and for those who prefer comfort, you can reach the top by chairlift. In winter, this place turns into an excellent and modern ski resort with a 600-meter long slope where you will find a small hook lift for children and a slope for learning to ski. Snowmaking and grooming provide great conditions for skiing and snowboarding, and evening lighting adds a unique atmosphere, which perfectly combines with a large dose of unforgettable views and admiration of the regional panorama. Nearby, also check out the Rope Park, a children's playground equipped with, among others, a climbing pyramid, swings, a rock and climbing wall, a carousel, and an exercise area.

SZYNDZIELNIA AND OBSERVATION TOWER

ZIAD TOWER

If you're not too keen on hiking, appreciate comfort and want to get to the top almost effortlessly, then Szyndzielnia is the perfect place for you. A modern 1,810-meter long gondola lift, one of Bielsko-Biała's biggest attractions, leads to the summit. The characteristic bright yellow, comfortable six-person gondolas will take you through the treetops to the top all year round, where you can admire beautiful views in any season. Want to go even higher? It's worth climbing the observation tower to see the panorama of the city itself and the Little Beskids and Silesian Beskids. Then you have a choice of hiking trails, a walk to Klimczok, cycling routes... Szyndzielnia is a great place to relax and enjoy the fresh air.

RENT A BIKE

This is a network of self-service city bike rental stations bbbike available to residents and tourists. It consists of 24 stations and 192 bikes, thanks to which the season in Bielsko-Biała lasts even longer. Each station is equipped with at least one terminal and free wi-fi, which will allow users to register and manage their account. You can cover a distance of up to 52 km along the scenic route around Bielsko-Biała called the Blue Trail, but riding is also possible in fragments, so sometimes it's worth trying your hand at it...

The nearby mountains, forests, marked hiking trails and cross-country trails are an ideal place for hiking. For runners, the 12.5-km long cross-country trail in Bielsko-Biała in Wapienica is particularly recommended, which leads through the picturesque terrain of the Wapienica Valley. It's really worth wandering around all the surrounding streets and admiring the diversity of architecture. There is a whole row of tenement houses from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries - tenement houses and villas of wealthy Bielsko factory owners, industrialists and merchants. You can visit at any time of day and then relax in one of the many pubs. The Market Square is a popular place among tourists, residents, business people and artists to meet in an atmosphere of music, art galleries, restaurants filled with delicious cuisine and music clubs. Near the market you will find: Sułkowski Castle - the former seat of the Cieszyn Piasts, Polish Theatre, Studio of Animated Films, Weaver's House, 15th-century St. Nicholas Cathedral, monument to Martin Luther, City Hall... tempting places to visit.

POLISH THEATER

The Polish Theatre in Bielsko-Biała is one of the most popular and recognizable institutions in the region. The building is one of the most beautiful theater buildings of the era in the region. It was built according to the plans of the Viennese architect Emil Ritter von Förster in the years 1889-1890. The repertoire of the Polish Theatre includes classics of literature, contemporary interpretations of Polish and world prose, stagings of contemporary dramatic texts, as well as musical performances and a diverse comedic repertoire. Both recognized theater creators and young, experimenting artists are invited to cooperate. Theatre is undoubtedly an art that allows for experiences of the highest order... sometimes it is worth being transported to another world.
